We-Vibe Sync 2 vs We-Vibe Chorus: Couples Vibrator Comparison
On this page
The We-Vibe Sync 2 and the We-Vibe Chorus share the same idea: a C-shaped couples’ device worn during intimacy, with one arm positioned internally and the other resting externally, so both partners feel the vibration while hands stay free. Both have an adjustable shape; they differ mainly in how they are controlled and how long they run. This comparison is based on manufacturer specifications and the mechanics of each design.

Quick verdict
Choose the We-Vibe Sync 2 if…
- you want an adjustable hinge you set once to your fit;
- you prefer straightforward controls: buttons on the device and a classic remote;
- run time matters: up to 120 minutes versus up to 90 minutes, according to We-Vibe.
Choose the We-Vibe Chorus if…
- you want intensity that responds to the body: Touch Sense reacts to touch and movement;
- you like a squeeze remote that changes intensity according to how firmly you press it;
- interactive controls matter more to you than the longest run time, and a charging case suits you.
Both are quiet (around 45 dB), IPX7 devices made with body-safe silicone and controllable through We-Vibe’s app. The Sync 2 ranks first in our couples’ ranking (4.4/5) for its simplicity and run time; the Chorus is a close second (4.3/5) and the more responsive, interactive choice.
Specifications side by side
Values from manufacturer data and published product documentation. Noise levels are approximate, not laboratory measurements; run times are manufacturer-stated and vary with intensity and app use.
Fit and adjustability: two adjustable shapes
A couples’ device sits between two bodies, so how it holds its position decides whether it stays comfortable. Both models can be adjusted to the body and keep the position you set.
We-Vibe Sync 2: an adjustable hinge
The Sync 2’s two arms are joined by an adjustable hinge that can be set to several positions, then holds that shape: you adjust the gap between the internal and external arms to your anatomy before use, and the device keeps that fit. This predictable shape suits couples who want a set-and-forget fit.
We-Vibe Chorus: an adjustable shape
According to We-Vibe, the Chorus also has an adjustable shape that stays in position once set, so it can be fitted to your anatomy before use in the same way. The difference between the two lies less in the fit than in the controls described below. In both cases, fit is personal: if the first position does not feel right, adjust before increasing intensity.
Controls: classic remote vs Touch Sense
This is the main functional difference between the two models.
- Sync 2: buttons on the device and a button remote let either partner change intensity and patterns. The behaviour is predictable: the device does what the buttons say.
- Chorus: We-Vibe’s Touch Sense uses sensors beneath the We-Vibe logo that respond to touch and movement, so the intensity can follow the bodies during use (three Touch Sense modes in the app). Its squeeze remote is just as interactive: the firmer you press, the stronger the vibration. It is more interactive, but less precise if you prefer fixed settings.
- Both: the We-Vibe app (formerly We-Connect) adds patterns and lets a partner control the device nearby or from a distance. The app is optional for everyday use. Review its privacy settings and share access only with people you trust.
Acoustic discretion
Based on manufacturer data, both devices sit at around 45 dB, comparable to a quiet library and among the quietest levels in our catalogue. Worn between two bodies and often under bedding, they are usually quieter in practice than when running on a table, because soft tissue and fabric absorb part of the sound. For the physics behind these figures, see our noise and decibel guide.
Battery life
The Sync 2 has the longer run time: up to 120 minutes according to We-Vibe, against up to 90 minutes for the Chorus. The Sync 2 charges with the supplied USB cable in up to 90 minutes; the Chorus comes with a charging case and takes about 120 minutes to charge fully. Wireless app connections draw extra power on both, so charge fully before a long-distance session. Make sure the charging contacts are clean and completely dry before charging, and never charge a wet device.
Materials, waterproofing and care
- Materials: both use body-safe, non-porous silicone on the surfaces that touch the skin; the Chorus also has ABS parts. Learn what to look for in our guide to body-safe silicone and materials.
- Waterproofing: both are rated IPX7, which allows temporary immersion and thorough rinsing. The remotes are not waterproof in the same way: We-Vibe describes the Chorus remote as splash-proof only, so keep both remotes out of the water.
- Cleaning: wash both arms after every use with warm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap or a dedicated toy cleaner, and let the device dry completely.
- Lubricant: use a water-based lubricant; silicone-based lubricants can degrade silicone surfaces over time. If you use condoms, choose a condom-compatible lubricant.
Where they rank
In our couples’ ranking, the Sync 2 is first (4.4/5) and the Chorus second (4.3/5). Both also appear as app-enabled alternatives in our app-controlled ranking, alongside the Lovense Lush 3, which is designed for long-distance control.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need the app to use either device?
No. Both come with a remote for everyday control. The app adds patterns and long-distance control but is optional.
What does Touch Sense do?
On the Chorus, Touch Sense uses sensors beneath the We-Vibe logo that respond to touch and movement, so intensity can follow the bodies during use; the app offers three Touch Sense modes. You can still set the intensity manually with the remote or the app.
Can a couples’ device be used solo?
Yes. Both can be worn for solo use, and the remote and app work the same way.
