The Fun Factory Tiger, sold as the TIGER G5, is a curved, ribbed internal vibrator designed and made by Fun Factory in Bremen, Germany. It combines a flexible silicone shaft with a looped handle and three raised buttons, and it is the first internal vibrator in our catalogue, so it opens a category of its own. This review is based on Fun Factory’s user manual, the product page of its official Australian distributor and retailer listings; we have not run laboratory or acoustic tests.

Design & Ergonomics
The Tiger has a gently curved shaft with pronounced raised ridges and a rounded, curved tip, which create a rolling texture as the angle changes. Fun Factory calls its flexible-shaft construction FlexiFUN: the shaft bends enough to follow the body’s movement while keeping enough structure to apply pressure where you position it. The wide base can also be used externally.
The control end is shaped as a LOOP handle: you place a finger through the opening and use your thumb on the three raised buttons, with either hand. Retailer listings give an overall length of around 22 cm (figures vary between 21.7 and 22.5 cm depending on the listing), so it is a full-size device rather than a travel-sized one.
Motor & Vibration Settings
The Tiger uses Fun Factory’s Generation 5 motor. According to the distributor’s product page, it produces low-frequency vibration that spreads along the full length of the shaft rather than staying concentrated at the base. The three buttons give access to six intensities and six rhythms, twelve vibration options in total, and a QuickSTOP function stops the vibration immediately.
Fun Factory does not publish motor speed, frequency or power figures, so we do not compare the Tiger’s power with other devices: our assessment covers the documented settings, controls and design.
Body-Safe Materials
The shaft is made of silicone with a velvety, non-porous finish, and the handle and electronics use ABS plastic, according to the distributor. Fun Factory’s manual lists the shaft material as 100% silicone and describes its grade; to understand what such material claims mean and what to look for, see our guide to body-safe silicone and materials.
Fun Factory recommends a water-based lubricant: silicone-based lubricants can degrade silicone surfaces over time.
Noise Level & Discretion
Neither Fun Factory nor its distributor publishes a noise figure for the Tiger. Some retailers describe it as quiet, but that is not a measurement, and we do not turn it into a decibel value. Our specification panels therefore show “Not published”, and the Tiger is not ranked in our guide to the quietest devices, which only includes devices with a stated noise level.
For discretion in a bag or suitcase, the Tiger has a key lock that prevents accidental activation. To understand how the decibel figures of other devices compare, see our noise and decibel guide.
Battery Life & Waterproofing
The Tiger charges with the supplied magnetic USB cable, which retailers call Click ‘n’ Charge: it attaches to two contacts at the base, so the body has no open charging port. Fun Factory’s manual lists a 500 mAh battery, an average charging time of 6 to 8 hours and at least 500 charging cycles, and it advises recharging a stored device about every three months. A battery-level indicator shows the remaining charge.
Fun Factory does not state a run time. Retailer listings give around 2 hours, which we show as an approximate value. The manual describes the Tiger as 100% waterproof without giving an IP rating, which is why we list it as “Waterproof” without a rating; the distributor confirms it can be used in the bath and the shower.
Hygiene & Care
- Before and after each use: wash the shaft and handle with warm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap, then rinse thoroughly.
- Charging contacts: dry the base completely before attaching the magnetic cable.
- Lubricant: use a water-based lubricant only.
- Storage: store it clean, dry and locked, away from direct sunlight and from products made of porous materials.

Who It’s For (and Who Should Skip It)
Who it’s for
The Tiger suits people looking for a full-size, textured internal vibrator with simple button controls: a flexible ribbed silicone shaft, a looped handle that is easy to hold with either hand, twelve vibration settings, a travel lock and a fully waterproof body, made in Germany.
Who should skip it
If a stated noise level matters to you, choose a device from our quiet devices ranking, where every figure comes from manufacturer data. The long charging time and the brand-specific magnetic cable may also put off anyone who wants quick USB-C charging. For external stimulation, see our external vibrator and air-pulse rankings, or answer up to four questions in our Device Finder.
Verdict
The Fun Factory Tiger earns a 4.6 rating in our Internal Vibrators category. Its strengths are documented by Fun Factory: a flexible, ribbed silicone shaft with a curved tip, low-frequency vibration spread along the shaft, six intensities and six rhythms, an ergonomic LOOP handle, a key lock, a magnetic charging cable with no open port and a fully waterproof body, all made in Bremen, Germany.
The trade-offs are practical: charging takes 6 to 8 hours for around 2 hours of use according to retailers, the magnetic cable is specific to the brand, and Fun Factory publishes neither a noise level nor an IP rating.
Frequently asked questions
What material is the Fun Factory Tiger made of?
The shaft is made of silicone with a non-porous, velvety finish, and the handle uses ABS plastic. Fun Factory’s manual lists the shaft as 100% silicone and describes its grade; we have not seen certification documents, so we describe it as body-safe silicone. Our silicone safety guide explains what material claims mean.
How do you charge the Fun Factory Tiger, and how long does it take?
It charges with the supplied magnetic USB cable, which clicks onto two contacts at the base. Fun Factory’s manual gives an average charging time of 6 to 8 hours for its 500 mAh battery; retailer listings give around 2 hours of use per charge.
How loud is the Fun Factory Tiger?
Fun Factory does not publish a noise level for the Tiger, so we show “Not published” rather than a decibel value. Some retailers describe it as quiet, but without a stated figure we cannot compare it with devices such as the Lovense Lush 3 (~43 dB) or the We-Vibe Sync 2 (~45 dB).
